Location and Attractions

The Arcadia Ba’Moshava Hotel is situated at the heart of the picturesque Greek Colony which is one of the most beautiful attractions in Jerusalem. The colony is considered to be one of the most beloved neighborhoods in the city, and a walk along its streets reveals the true charm of this popular tourist destination.
Emek Refaim St. is adjacent to the Greek Colony and offers a variety of souvenir and handicrafts shops, charming cafés and excellent restaurants, most of which are kosher. The ancient synagogue is open to all visitors and Liberty Bell Park is right beside it – a magical location for a picnic or for playing with your children at the playground.
The Greek Colony is a well-established quarter that was founded in the early 20th century by Greek Orthodox settlers. It is built according to a unique network of parallel streets. The magnificent houses in the quarter have great cultural value and contribute to making it one of the most prestigious and well-kept neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
Around the hotel
Along with Emek Refaim St., it is recommended to explore the picturesque smaller streets on foot in both the Greek Colony and the German Colony. The architecture is impressive and simultaneously portrays both the ancient and the modern Jerusalem. Just a short walk from the new railway complex that is currently under construction on the site of the old train station, you can enjoy the many restaurants, shops, stalls and stands and of course the concerts which are performed on different days.
Attractions throughout the City
In Emek Refaim St. you'll find extensive public transport to take you to all parts of the city. During the day you can visit the Mahane Yehuda market, go to the Western Wall or the Old City, or take a stroll downtown and along Jaffa Rd. In the evenings, you can highlight your perfect Jerusalem vacation with a delicious dinner at a gourmet restaurant or a refreshing drink in a bar just off the perimeter of the station, which is also open on Saturdays.

I had a fantastic experience. The feeling in the hotel is a good one - the staff are wonderful The caring and attention to customers goes above and beyond - that applies to each and every staff member. Whether it was setting me up with a taxi any time or storing my luggage even during the time I wasnt staying there or making sure I knew my way places - they are a top service hotel and customer service is a priority The food was delicious and the presentation was with class. Bkfst and afternoon "tea" is served daily. A true Israeli breakfast - lots of delicious and incredibly presented fruits and vegetables, cheeses, fish, spices, yogurts, pastries, croissants, variety of fresh breads, cooked food including shakshuka. Different everyday. And then, in the afternoon, another amazing spread. It is all so beautifully presented with fresh flowers and a magnificent decor. Sitting outside on the tranquil patio is an option. Location: amazing - While the hotel is centrally located - it is one short block from Emek Refaim - filled with lots of restaurants, cafes, stores - it is on a quiet, tranquil block with beautiful vegetation. Feels so serene! My room: so clean, so inviting, so nicely decorated While I was there, I met people who had been returning for a second time in just a few months and my neighbor who recommended the hotel, plans to go back there soon. If you are looking for a boutique hotel, this is it! Thank you to the staff. Read more
